Inspiring the Youth

This month Mustard paid a visit to the Schlossberg Schule in Spiez to help inspire several classes and give advice about their projects which they have to undertake as part of there curriculum. Every individual in the class must plan and execute their projects which could last up to several days. Using a power point presentation Mustard gave examples of his experience in the Alps, Iceland, Russia and finally Greenland. Mustard talked about how the plan to cross Greenland in 2007 came to be and the planning and preperation that was involved for the expedition. The lecture was finished off with the plans for 2010 expedition and hopefully inspired the classes as they begin to undertake their own projects.
A donation of 400 Sfr.- was made from the school for Ali’s foundation and the expedition.

HAPPY ITS OVER!

Absolutely nowhere near the front!

Fran, Rachel, Simon and James all completed the Hinckley half marathon. Fran enjoyed training up for the distance as a fitness improver for the expedition. Fran still got whooped by Simon and Rach though, but we all got creamed by James (in black) 1hr 55min, show-off!! Raised £150 for Alis fund, got some sailing in  and started the summer tan, so a very good day overall.
