Big thanks to Mark and Kandersteg International Scout Centre for supporting our expedition. Ali Rainback worked at Kandersteg many years ago and we are pleased that Kandersteg will help support Ali’s fund. Mustard will be doing a couple of presentations about the expedition next summer at the scout centre which is open for all.
Mustard off on climbing expedition to warmer climates

This week Mustard will be leaving Switzerland to take part in a 10 week climbing expedition throughout China, Cambodia, Laos and Thailand. Quite the opposite to Greenland when it comes to temperatures and equipment but like any expedition, good preperation and training is required for a successful trip! Shorts, flip flops and sunglasses are packed! See you in December!
Countdown to Ice Cap:
To cross the island of Greenland from the East coast to the West Coast, unsupported, in a diagonal heading starting at the coast close to the town of Tasiilaq and hopefully finishing at Qaanaaq This represents a distance of around 1800 kilometres or 1100 miles! .
